As a real estate agent, I have passed the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle exam and have received my commercial drone license. My license now allows me to offer drone photography for real estate marketing.
I wanted the ability to bring drone photography and video to my real estate clients. I still hire out photography/drone services, but by having a drone in house I can offer aerial photography to more of my clients.
Drone photography adds another layer to marketing of my seller’s homes. When marketing a home, it all begins online. Different buyers respond to different visuals.

Aerial videos is where drone use for real estate can really shine. It hits a home buyer’s on several levels. The motion added by video with quality editing and the music can evoke an emotional response. Again, that is what marketing is all about!!
