Instead, Dragon Age: The Veilguard's character creator will allow players to choose what happened in the previous game. Busche says the developers are aware that not everyone will remember their choices from Inquisition, a game that could be pushing 11 by the time its sequel hits the market. That's why these choices will be presented through tarot cards that serve as a brief retelling of the 2014 adventure. Busche dubbed this feature "last time on Dragon Age."
The Dragon Age Keep service, which allows players to export their save files from the first two entries in the franchise in order to use them in Inquisition, hence appears unlikely to offer any kind of integration with The Veilguard. Nevertheless, there is currently no firm indication that BioWare plans to discontinue the web app anytime soon.
