So you are admitting, on a public forum, to not paying taxes on income from 1998 to present? Wow.
Buying and selling items for higher than purchased is a business. I don't make a lot, but still claim my income. Check out a Schedule C. eBay would only provide a gross and you would figure the net. Deductions include shipping fees, eBay fees, supplies, postage, and more. You can do it yourself or have a tax expert do your taxes.
It doesn't say that sellers don't have to pay income tax unless they sell $20,000 in total sales with more than 200 items sold, per year. It says they don't have to send a form unless it is this amount. Not getting a form doesn't mean you don't pay taxes.
