In most instances, some improvement in performance willresult if you disable NETBIOS on the Windows™ server where you are installing the Conversion component.If using CIFS (SMB) to access any shared storage from this server,DO NOT disable NETBIOS.

If you install Conversion server in your Window system, youmust do this task.Procedure
- Navigate to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network andSharing Center.
- Click Change adapter settings.
- Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click Properties, and then click Advanced.
- Click the WINS tab, and in the NETBIOS setting section,click Disable NETBIOS over TCP/IP. Click OK to close the properties windows.
- Navigate to Administrative Tools > Services, right-click TCP/IP NETBIOS Helper, and click Stop.
- Right-click TCP/IP NETBIOS Helper, click Properties, and in the Startup typelist, select Disabled. Click OK.
- Close the remaining Network property windows.
