What is 6th grade humanities? ›

Humanities in grade 6 is an interdisciplinary experience combining Language Arts and Social Studies. Grade six Humanities is a one-year program preparing the students in organizational skills through the study of Ancient Civilizations.

The humanities include the study of all languages and literatures, the arts, history, and philosophy. The humanities are sometimes organized as a school or administrative division in many colleges and universities in the United States.
