How do I know my size in heels? ›

Some say high heels sizing is usually bigger than flats, so we should go one to two sizes down when shopping for heels. For instance, if you wear a US7 in flats, go for US5 to US6 when buying heels.

High heels are generally 3-4 inches, or 7.5-10cm. These are typically reserved for dressy occasions like parties or evenings out, as they can be a little more difficult to walk in. Any higher than this and the shoe is likely to have a platform at the front to make it slightly easier to walk in.

For closed-toe styles, consider your normal size or a half size larger than normal. For open-toe styles, go for your normal size.
