Hello,
I am thinking of buying an oculus quest 2 but for me it is a must that it works with my PC. I find som people that say my PC is compatible other that say it isn't. So I wondered that I could best ask it here. In my PC there is -Rtx 3060 12gb oc, a Ryzen 5 3600 and 16 gb of ram. Are these specs (mainly the GPU) supported by oculus?

the only 30 series cards that don't work are the 3050 and there variants. 3060 and above work and are "validated" per oculus.
Although the laptop 30 series some times are hit and miss.

But if you really want to use it for PCVR, I would make sure to ask users here to confirm that your intended GPU will work. I personally wouldn't buy any GPU that is not vouched for here.

Go for the 3060 ti instead. Better raw rendering, the 12gb of texture memory is overkill for vr application.

Not correct, for x-plane 11 the Oculus pc app indicated my nvidia geforce rtx 3060 is not compatable. I am trying to find out if it will work in X-plane 12 but cannot get a straight answer. I have 16gb ram, 1tb hard drive 512 gb ssd and intel i7 cpu 12 core. I prefer to stick with xplane but if i cannot make sure i will switch to msfs
