U.S. and Canadian retail travel agents can now earn 10% commission on Disney’s photo package, Memory Maker.
It is available on advance Memory Maker purchases as part of a Walt Disney Travel Company package and as a stand-alone product (with the exception of Memory Maker One Day).
The commission is available for new bookings, effective Apr. 15. It’s not applicable on existing Memory Maker bookings.
Clients who purchase Memory Maker have access to unlimited digital downloads of all their Disney PhotoPass memories captured during their vacation. The advance price for Memory Maker is $169 and can be purchased via the Disney Travel Agents website, or by calling the Disney Reservation Center at least three days prior to arrival.
The announcement comes ahead of schedule. Claire Bilby, Disney Destinations’ senior vice president of sales, services and events, said they were targeting a May 1 launch. Bilby was met with cheers and applause when she told travel advisors about the development at the Discover the Magic Tour 2019 earlier this month.
Bilby told the room, “Our goal is to not only to partner with you, but to help you grow your business.”
