What is the average score on CogniFit? ›

Understanding the Cognitive Scores

These scores range from 0 to 800, with 400 being the average score for the group associated with the user.

CogniFit is recognized by the scientific community and has been published and reviewed independently in several scientific publications.

CogniFit is a cognitive training program intended to help users improve brain functioning. By playing specially created games, users can address many core cognitive functions, including working memory, visual processing, speed, and attention.

A score of 30 is a very low score, a performance similar to the lowest 2% of all candidates globally. A score of 50 marks a performance better than or equal to 50% of all candidates. A score of 70 marks a performance better or equal to 98% of all candidates.

A score of 54.2 is the average expected score, and we expect most respondents to score between 43.2 and 65.2. These scores are at 1 standard deviation above and below the mean for the age group 50 to 70. A score above 54 means that your score is higher than the average person's score in this age group.

After creating your CogniFit account for free, you will have limited access to certain basic features offered by the platform (you can take thean initial cognitive assessment, try the games...). To access CogniFit's brain training programs, you will need to purchase a subscription.

The CogniFit training sessions are optional, but have been proven to improve your memory as well as 9 other driving related cognitive skills.
