What is CleanTalk blacklist? ›

The CleanTalk Anti-Spam and Security Services analyze data of IP and mail addresses activity and if they have such spam activity on several websites for a certain amount of time then after reaching the critical activity threshold the IP/email will be blacklisted.

Domains can get blacklisted if there are too many spam complaints—or if the email appears to share the hallmarks of unsolicited promotion. ISPs may block users from accessing blacklisted websites and may prevent them from receiving an email from blacklisted domains or IP addresses.

You can use the Spamhaus IP and Domain Reputation Checker to confirm your IP is on the Spamhaus blocklist. If your IP address is listed, you can use Spamhaus Blocklist Removal Center (also found at https://check.spamhaus.org/) to submit a delist request for IP blacklist removal.

There can be several reasons why your IP address might end up on a blacklist: Sending Spam: If your mail server is misconfigured and unintentionally sending spam, or if you intentionally send out spammy emails, your IP address may be blacklisted.

It is more reliable than similar systems. Other systems let spam in; they have different operating principles and can't be as reliable as CleanTalk. CleanTalk algorithms estimate user behavior and the way forms are being filled.

Most IP blocks are temporary and will last for only a few minutes. For repeated violations or high-risk situations, an IP block will remain in place until it is lifted.
