Description
The Bridge-Group VirtualInterface (BVI) becomes available on routers when thebridge
irb
command has beengiven. This interface allows the router to route and bridge the sameprotocol over the same interface. Thebridge
group-number
must match the bridge groupdefined for the bridge.

In this configuration, serial0
andserial1
are bridged, and traffic is routed throughthose interfaces out through ethernet0
