[Chrome OS] Change site permissions

Change settings for all sites

You can set permissions for a site without changing your default settings.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More [Chrome OS] Change site permissions | Official Support | ASUS USA (1) [Chrome OS] Change site permissions | Official Support | ASUS USA (2) Settings.
  3. Under "Privacy and security," clickSite settings.
  4. Select the permission you want to update.

To change permissions and data storage on all sites you’ve visited, you can also selectView permissions and data stored across sites.

The following permissions that can be changed:

  • Cookies:Cookies are files created by websites you visit. They make your online experience easier and save browsing information.Learn more about managing cookies.
  • Images:Sites usually show images to provide illustration, like photos for online stores or news articles.

Change settings for a specific site

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. Go to a website.
  3. To the left of the web address, click the icon you want:

  1. ClickSite settings.
