Expanding Choice with Split Refund Option
CCH CompleteTax pioneered the split refund option among online tax prep programs in 2007 and continues to offer this option to customers for 2008, enabling customers to split their refund and have it deposited in up to three accounts of their choosing. This can include checking, savings and brokerage accounts, including IRA accounts to fund 2007 or 2008 IRAs. In order to direct deposit a tax refund into multiple accounts, the customer simply indicates the name of each institution, the routing number, account number and amount they wouldlike deposited into each account in the CCH CompleteTax program.
Prepare and E-file an Extension
Taxpayers also can use CCH CompleteTax to prepare and file for an extension of their federal tax return, allowing them until October 15, 2008 to complete and file their full tax return.
