Sample Answer

My ideal job would be with a good, stable company that treats its employees well. I actually found out about this position through a former co-worker who is now a part of your company, and she thought it would make for a great fit.

"Career" is often used to refer to a profession, occupation, trade or vocation. A career could define what you do for a living and range from those that require extensive training and education to those you can perform with only a high school diploma and a willingness to learn.

Some examples of objectives include: "Seeking a challenging position in [industry/field] where I can utilize my [skills/experience] to contribute to the success of the company." "To secure a [position title] role in a dynamic company that offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement."

When answering the question What is your dream job? provide a specific role that aligns with your passions, skills, and long-term career aspirations. Discuss how the job allows you to utilize your strengths, make a meaningful impact, and grow professionally. Highlight how the role fits into your overall career goals.

Your answers should reflect the skills the employer wants. Be positive and tailor your examples to the job description. If you don't have much work history, you can use examples from outside of work. You can also use examples from volunteering experience.

Avoid extreme answers

Conversely to the previous tip, you should also avoid answering every question with "Strongly Agree" or "Strongly Disagree". This might make you appear wildly sure of yourself or closed to others' opinions.
