When asked for your CVN, be sure to enter it properly or your payment might not be successful. CVNs can appear in different spots on each card. Often, you can find your CVN on the back of your card, near or next to the area where you can add your signature. Some cards show it on the front, near your account number.

This can occur for a few different reasons: The 3-digit security code on the back of the Visa, MasterCard or Discover does not match what the card holder's bank has on file. For American Express this is the 4-digit code on the front of the card. The expiration date was entered incorrectly.

Where do I find my CVN ? On the reverse side of Mastercard, Visa, and Discover/Novus credit cards, there is a number printed on the signature strip. The CVN is the last three or four digits (shown below).

Update your billing information with the correct details. The issuing bank doesn't allow using the bank account for online or international transactions. Contact your bank to allow these types of transactions, then choose one of the solutions in the following section to start serving your ads again.

Make sure you enter the verification code for the right card. Check how long it's been since you requested the code. If it's been more than 14 days, the code is expired and you must try verification again. If you deleted the card after you requested a verification code, the code won't be valid.

Checking the three- or four-digit code on the back of the card is a straightforward and effective verification method.

Check to find if your payment method is up to date. If it isn't, update it in the Payments center, then try your purchase again. Make sure you have enough money in your account for the purchase. If you're still having issues, contact your bank to find if there's a problem with your account.

Verifying Your Card

To begin, log in to your Facebook Ads Manager account and navigate to the Payment Settings section. Here, you will find an option to add a new payment method or verify an existing one. Click on "Add Payment Method" and enter your card details.

When adding a card to Google Pay, If you have chosen to verify your card with a one time passcode, you should receive a push notification or a text message with a one time passcode on the mobile number we have for you.
