Broadleaf, deciduous, low-growing, multi-branched, compact shrub, to a height of about 2.5 ft, with a spreading habit. Leaves are opposite, simple, elliptic. and the upper surfaces aregray-green and the lower sufaces covered in awhitepubescence. The flower cluster is a simple panicle displaying numerous small blue flowers, each with a small orange-yellow dot in the center; fragrant. Bloom occurs throughout the growing season. This selectionexhibits low female fertility and reduced seed set, resulting in fewer seedlings surviving in the landscape.
