Along with fueling transactions on BNB Chain (similar to gas on Ethereum), BNB also acts as a governance token. Holding BNB gives you the right to make your voice heard and is necessary to participate in BNB Chain’s decentralized on-chain governance.
BNB Chain has launched an “Airdrop Alliance Program” where they’re distributing airdrops of various projects that have yet to issue tokens to active BNB and opBNB users. Projects participating in the airdrop are StarryNift, zkPass, GombleGames, Web3Go, Cellula and Ultiverse. Based on a snapshot taken from August 1, 2023, at 8 AM UTC to March 19, 2024, at 8 AM UTC active users will get rewards based on various requirements. Eligible users will receive the rewards based on each projects plan.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Visit the BNB Chain airdrop eligibility checking page.
- Scroll down and click on “Check eligibility”.
- Connect your wallet.
- If you’re eligible, you will see a confirmation that you’re eligible for Level 1 or Level 2 rewards.
- Level 1 requirements for BSC users are:
- The number of on-chain transactions is greater than or equal to 50, but less than or equal to 5000.
- The number of addresses interacted with is greater than or equal to 10, but less than or equal to 100.
- The unique active days (with on-chain transactions) are greater than or equal to 30 days.
- The address is not a smart contract.
- The address is with a BNB balance greater than or equal to 0.05.
- The address is not a project address.
- Level 1 requirements for opBNB users are:
- The number of on-chain transactions is greater than or equal to 50 transactions, but less than or equal to 5000 transactions.
- The number of addresses interacted with is greater than or equal to 10, but less than or equal to 100.
- The unique active days (with on-chain transactions) are greater than or equal to 30 days.
- Holding the opBNB Genesis NFT.
- Level 2 requirements are:
- Must be eligible for Level 1 requirements
- The address with a BNB balance is greater than or equal to 0.1 or 60 FDUSD.
- Interacted with at least 6 smart contracts on BSC.
- Addresses eligible for both BSC and opBNB rewards will only receive a one-time Level 1 benefit, not twice.
- If a user is 1 qualified for both Level 1 and Level 2 rewards then the same address will only receive Level 2 benefits.
