What proof do I need for a Blue Light Card? ›

Am I eligible? If you are an employed and paid staff member of the following and can provide a form of ID below that shows name, employer, job role and date (within the last 3 months). NHS - ID Required: ID card or Payslip or trusted email domain. Police Service - ID Required: Payslip or trusted email domain.

The Blue Light Card is a nationwide discount card scheme that is available to those working in the NHS, emergency services, armed forces, social care and more.

The BLC card is for your personal use and cannot be used by someone else.

As we verify every single member, you must upload a valid form of ID which clearly shows your name and affiliation to your eligible employer. Please note, we are unable to accept paper ID cards.
