Do I need a visa for Bali?

- Australians looking to travel to Bali for less than 30 days do not require a travel visa. The only requirement is a Passport that is valid for 12 months from the date of arrival.
- For Australian travellers looking to stay longer than 30 days, they will need to apply for a visitor visa upon arrival to Bali. The VOA, Visa on Arrival is available for travellers looking to stay between 30-60 days in Bali.
- For Australian travellers looking to stay longer than 60 days, they will need to apply for a Social Budaya Visa which allows travellers to stay for up to 6 months in Bali. This Visa needs to be processed before arrival into Indonesia and requires sponsorship from an Indonesian citizen, school/university or volunteer work program.

Dengue Fever
There are no vaccinations to prevent dengue fever which is transmitted through mosquito bites. Symptoms include fever, aching joints and muscles, vomiting, headaches and nausea.

Typhoid

Malaria

Rabies
Rabies is a result of the rabies virus which is transmitted through the saliva of infected animals such as dogs and monkeys. Symptoms include dizziness, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, musclespasms and headaches.
