"sh*t," Damian quietly said. He had forgotten to buy a Valentines Day gift for Nika. When was it today? He looked at his phone. The eleventh of February?!
Damian normally didn't celebrate these kind of holidays, but Nika had spoken to him about Valentines Day a few weeks ago so she must celebrate it.What the f*ck do i buy her?!
That day at lunch Damian brought up the subject, "What do- People, buy their loved ones at Valentines Day?" Dick was the first to react, "You're in love?" Damian felt himself becoming red and quickly said "No, but hypothetically-" Tim reacted, "Well, nice clothes, jewellery, flowers.. At your age chocolates." Damian didn't like the sound of simple candy, "I will not give her something as dull as candy!" Dick quickly heard that, "So you have a girlfriend!" Damian quickly stopped him, "Shut up."
"Maybe i can come with you to show you," Jason said. Tim smiled, "You forgot to buy her a gift again, didn't you?" Jason reacted, "Maybe." Tim continued, "Not gonna lie, i also forgot."
The next day, the 12th of February, 2 days before Valentines Day, Jason, Tim, and Damian we're in the mall. They had to get something, they did not know what. Jason started, "So, Demon Spawn, who would ever possibly fall in love with you?" Damian smiled, "Why should i tell you?" Tim answered for him, "Because we are kind honest brothers who you trust with that information?" Damian smirked, "Do you believe yourself?"
"Dami, please-" Tim continued. "Alright." Jason didn't understand, "Really?" Damian started, "Remember the Lazarus Tournament?" Tim was scared he was dating a killer and asked, "The Death Tournament?" Damian continued, "Yes." He sighted, "In the Lazarus Tournament, i met a girl who stole my heart, quite litterly." Tim remembered looking through Damian's drawings and said, "The girl from your drawings? With the skull-" Damian turned red, "You looked through my sketchbook?!" Jason laughed, "You're dating an emo girl?"
They couldn't continue speaking as they found a store, 'Gotham Jewellery'. "This is it." Damian scanned the store with hawk eyes and saw his brother in the store. "Grayson?" Dick didn't wanna get seen forgetting to buy a gift so he pretended to just be someone looking like himself. Jason yelled, "We know you're there, Dickiebird!"
Dick turned red and walked up to them. "You also here?" Jason continued, "Forgot something?" Dick defended himself, "Didn't you also?"
They we're arguing as Damian saw the perfect necklace. It was a silver skull-shaped necklace painted black.It's- It's perfect. He couldn't even imagen how good Nika would look like wearing it. He quickly grabbed it and went back to his brothers. Dick saw he had something in his hands, "Are you going show us what you got?"
Damian decided to play dumb, "What?" Jason continued, "Com'mon, don't be shy." Damian answered, "I'm not shy."
Meanwhile, Jason found a necklace he would love to give to Rose, it was a glimming, silver, necklace in the shape of two swords. He went to the check-out where he and Damian paid for the necklaces.
While walking to the next store Damian decided to sneak away, he went to the clothing store. He knows how much Nika likes outfits and decided to give shopping a try. He knew he was on a time limit as the others would notice him not being there. Not too fast, of course, since he's pretty silent, but they will know. He quickly looked through the store.Too colorful, too dark, too hot, too covering..Then he found what Nika would love. Pure black skinny jeans, with a white belt, on top of that a black crop top with the Flatline she originally had in white. On top of that a black jacket with her bone structure in pink. And to top it all off black fingerless gloves showing the bones in her hand in white. He absolutely loved it and knew Nika would also. He quickly went to the check-out to pay for it. He hoped nobody would notice the extra bag. When he was leaving he saw his father walking into the store, "Damian?" Damian played the quick game and said, "I won't tell if you don't tell."
While Damian was in the clothing store the other Bat Boys saw lingeries in display at a store. Jason started, "Damian isn't here so-" Tim imagined what Steph would look like in it and agreed. They walked into the store, Dick bought a pink lingerie to which Jason asked what the difference was with her suit and that. Tim grabbed a purple-blue-ish lingerie with parts you can take off and bought it. Jason grabbed an orange one and they went out of the store. "So- Where is Damian?"
Meanwhile Damian stood behind them, "What do you mean?". Tim saw the extra bag and asked, "What's with the bag?" Damian pointed at the bag with the lingeries and asked, "What's with that bag?" Jason answered, "The kids got a point." Damian continued, "You spoke of flowers?"
Dick pointed at a flower shop near where they we're walking and said, "Flower Shop." They walked into there and got some flowers. Damian got Nika white and black Anemone flowers he thought she'd love. Dick got Kori a classic red rose and Tim decided to do the same in purple. Jason got Rose some orange carnations and they decided to pay.
