The ACT Pro Policy
The ACT Pro policy with annual artist insurance is excellent for those who attend multiple shows every year and offers broader coverage than the show/event policy. Starting at $24.25 per month, some of the highlights include:
- No liability deductible
- General & Product liability coverage
- Optional Coverage for supplies, equipment, products
- Optional professional liability
The ACT Go Policy
If you only attend a few shows every year, and aren’t worried about professional coverage or product liability coverage, then the ACT Go policy might be the artist insurance coverage for your business. The policy starts at $49 per event and some policy highlights include:
- Terms as short as 1–3 days
- $1M per occurrence with a $2M Aggregate General Liability Limit. (Product and professional liability excluded)

What Is Artist Insurance?
Artist insurance is designed to protect you from liability exposures while you sell or showcase your work at fairs and festivals. An ACT Go policy allows you to customize your coverage term for as little as 1–3 consecutive days or for as long as 90 days. The ACT Pro policy gives you insurance coverage for a full 365 days.
How Much Is Artist Insurance?
An ACT Go policy starts at $49/event for 1–3 days, but it can be extended to 90 days for $149 (with the option to renew). However, if you are an artist who will be attending many shows throughout the year, you might consider an ACT Pro policy, which is only $24.25/month—less than a dollar per day!
Do I Need Artist Insurance?
The short answer is yes. An ACT Insurance policy adds credibility and positions you as a professional. However, there are other reasons artists need insurance. If you take your art to shows and fairs, many times directors will require you to have liability insurance policy and add them as an additional insured.
