I am considering upgrading to an iPhone SE 2nd Generation, and need to know how much longer Apple will continue to support it. I have heard rumors that when iOS 15 comes out it will not upgrade on the iPhone SE 2nd Generation, is that true? I have also heard that Apple will support it for another 5 years, is that true. Can't seem to find answers to my questions on Apple.com.

The second generation SE was released in 2020. You can bank on it being supported for at least 5 years, maybe longer. The iPhone 6s is still supported with iOS updates and it was released in 2015.

The 1st generation iPhone SE most likely will lose support for iOS 15.
