I love the name Lydia, but also like a name to have the option of a shortening or nick name. Are there any sensible nicknames for Lydia? I don’t particularly fancy future dd being known as Lid!

Sorry, all the Lydias I know are shortened to Lyd or Lydz!

Hmmm. I thought as much.
DeeDee is quite nice, but I’m not 100% convinced, and definitely want to avoid bin lid!

Lydie. She'd be Lyds though. My first thought was Chlamydia.

Lydia is beautiful. I wouldn't want to ruin it with a nn.

My sister is named Lydia and I call her Lido (pronounced Lee-doe) like the beach in Venice.
