Very interesting article about the link of a highly abstract problem to very concrete problems we have.However proving P=NP doesn't say much about the ability to then solve hard problems; it only says that computation time will not "explode", but it may still grow incredibly fast, too fastto be of practical value.There is however also the possibility that calculation times will then grow at very moderate speed and then things may actually change dramatically, but the world will not become a better place because the mindset of people will not be affected.
