ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

WHO CAN JOIN?

Oxford International College is open to ambitious 15 to 18-year-olds of all backgrounds and nationalities. We ask all applicants to complete admissions tests or send proof of previous exam results. In order to ensure that all international students are comfortable in our academically rigorous classes, we require a minimum English language level of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent for GCSE and IELTS 6.5 or equivalent for A-Level study.

ASSESSMENT AND INTERVIEW

Next, you’ll be asked to complete admissions tests in your chosen subjects. You’ll also take an online aptitude assessment. Successful applicants will then be invited to an in-person or virtual interview.

OFFERING YOU A PLACE

After your interview, we’ll formally offer you place. Offers to non-native English-speaking students are conditional on your IELTS. There may also be other conditions attached.

To confirm your place, you’ll need to pay a deposit by the date specified in the offer letter. You’ll then need to pay our non-refundable registration fee and sign our enrolment contract.

    Yes, of course. Many students join us from other schools. They do so for a variety of reasons, whether it’s looking for a more ambitious approach, greater independence, or higher levels of academic challenge and support.
  • Is the college open to all nationalities?
    Oxford International College is home to a diverse student community from more than 40 countries. We embrace our internationalism, learning, supporting, and flourishing together as global citizens.
  • How old do I have to be to join the college?

    Year 12 students are aged 16-18 at the time of entry and Year 11 students are aged 15-16 at the time of entry.
