When you make your computer a trusted device, you won't need to enter a security code each time you try to access sensitive info, like credit card information associated with your Microsoft account.
Setting your computer to be a trusted devicecan be useful if you use it often, if you have two-step verificationenabled,or if you're using the Microsoft Authenticator app to sign in.
Here's how to do it:

On the device you want to trust, go to the Securitysettings page and sign in to your Microsoft account.

You'll be prompted to verify your identity. Choose whether to receive the code through email, text, or an authenticator app. Once you have the code, enter it in the text box.

Select the check box forDon't ask me again on this device.

Select Verify.

You can now sign in and edit your info on this device whenever you want, without entering another security code.
