A-line & Emipre silhouette
Both these styles are very similar, with the difference being on where the waistline of the dress is designed and placed. Typically, an A-line style wedding dress has the waistline of the dress created at around the hips, and for an empire dress, the waistline is higher above the hips, usually just underneath the bust line.
An A-line wedding dress is extremely feminine: the silhouette flatters the waist and the hips gives the woman the perfect look and shape. An A-line wedding dress can be narrow and flattering, or can be designed with a wider full-skirt to create a more dramatic look similar too a ball-gown but with less volume of fabric.
