6 Cardano Projects to Keep an Eye on in 2024 (2024)

🚀 As of today, the Cardano blockchain ecosystem has more than 1,315 projects currently building Web3 decentralized applications on its platform and more than 155 of these dApps have already launched, including some of the biggest DeFi and NFT applications in the industry.

With a fresh start to 2024, Cardano continues to evolve and bring forth new features as a technological blockchain platform, and its ecosystem of dApps built on Cardano is busy at work building and providing a variety of decentralized services.

NMKR is an NFT and Tokenization service on the Cardano blockchain that aims to bring Web3 to the masses through its simple platform. NMKR, FluidTokens, and IAMX have partnered to start building a Real-World Assets (RWA) Tokenization launchpad called finest. It’ll allow developers the ability to tokenize any type of real-world asset without having to code a smart contract using the same API technology powering NMKR Studio. Massive potential to drive tokenization growth and can be a catalyst to onboard brands and creators into blockchain and Web3.

Maestro is an all-in-one Web3 platform built for developers to easily build innovative dApps on Cardano and for businesses to integrate Web3 products & services with Cardano. Maestro has launched a high-frequency market price API and is the first to support the Genius Yield decentralized exchange (DEX). It allows developers and traders the ability to directly get real-time and historical data from DEXs and DeFi projects on Cardano.

zkFold is a zero-knowledge (ZK) scalability project on Cardano. It provides developer products and services to enhance user privacy for Cardano users. zkFold proposes a new Haskell Domain Specific Language (DSL) for writing zero-knowledge smart contracts to dramatically reduce the barrier to entry for new developers to use ZK cryptography. This new DSL language will speed up the adoption of ZK technology across the Cardano network.

Indigo is another one of the bigger DeFi players in Cardano. It is a decentralized non-custodial synthetic assets protocol built for Cardano. Using smart contracts, Indigo allows users to create fully collateralized synthetic assets. It announced the scheduled launch of Indigo V2 in March of 2024. The upgrade will make the Indigo platform more optimized when generating synthetic assets that can be traded across Cardano's fast-growing DeFi ecosystem.

Iagon is a Web3 cloud storage provider built on Cardano. It launched its new Node Version 1.0.2 for its decentralized cloud computing network. It includes node logs for enhanced visibility for node operations and also, hardware wallet integration supporting Ledger and Keystone wallets.
