Because in such situations, mostly the logic goes out of the window. So learn to shun negativity and don’t let it ruin your day and life.

Wondering how to change your perspective on a negative situation or block out the negativity? First, you don’t need to escape from reality, instead accept it and find ways to get out of it. Practicing self-compassion can do wonders for you in such scenarios.

Most of the time, unmet expectations lead us to anxiety and depression. Thinking like, “Why didn’t he give me a present on my birthday?”, “She was supposed to do so, but she didn’t, why?” and the list goes on.

If you want to live a less stressful life, learn to manage expectations to reduce drama in your life. Don’t make assumptions, rather put yourself in another person’s shoes to better understand and handle the situation.

Realize, that if you can't change the situation, change your perspective. It will not only help you to control your stress level but you can have more healthy relationships with others.
