Switch Extension's Status
Step : Overview
You can change your extension’s status from your deskphone with BLF keys, the 3CX Web Client, the 3CX Mobile App, or even the 3CX Management Console.
Step : 3CX Web Client - BLF Keys
Step : Three dot icon > Settings
Click on the "Settings" tab.
Step : Change status from the "BLF" settings
Click on the "BLF" tab.
Click on the drop-down menu next to the BLF key and select "Change Status"
From the second drop-down menu, you can change your status to the following:
Available Away Do not disturb Out of office Business Trip
Step : Log in to the 3CX Web Client
Step : Click on the person icon
Click on the person icon in the upper left corner of the web client.
From the 3CX Web Client, you can change your status to the following:
Available Away Do not disturb Out of office Business Trip You could also click on "Set Status Temporarily" from here.
Step : Three dot icon > Settings
Click on the three dot icon from the dashboard and click on "Settings"
Step : Call Forwarding > Switch Status
Click on the "Call Forwarding" tab, then click on "Switch Status"
From here, you could check the option to "Automatically switch status to available during office hours"
Step : Switch this extension to use specific office hours (optional)
You could optionally change your extension to use specific office hours.
Step : Disable outbound calls outside office hours (optional)
You can disable outbound calls outside office hours.
Step : Download the 3CX App
Download and open the 3CX Mobile App, then click on the green icon in the top right corner to change the status.
Then click on the green icon in the top right corner to change the status.
Step : Switch Status
You could choose the status from the list below or set a temporary status.
For example, you could switch it to "Away" here:
Step : Set the Temporary Status
If you choose to set a temporary status, you will configure the following:
Change status to: Choose from the available statuses.For: Set the length of time.Set Status Message: Type a custom message.
Step : 3CX Management Console
Step : Click on the "Users" tab
From the 3CX Management Console, click on the "Users" tab.
Step : Select an extension
Click on the box next to the extension you wish to modify.
Click on the "Status" button.
Step : Change the user's current status
Change the user's current status to one of the options from the drop-down menu.
In the Management Console, you can change the user's status to the following:
Available Away Do Not Disturb (DND) Lunch Business Trip
Step : Change the user's queue status
You could also change the queue's status to either logged in or logged out.
