A wonderful experience both for parents and kids. If your kids are on the younger side, this place is so interactive they still love it anyway. For older kids (and parents), it's nice to learn and relearn some physics and science concepts. There's indoor and outdoor areas, 4 floors of different exploration, cafes and eating area aplenty. We will be back for sureThere is plenty of parking behind the building, and seems like the turn over is high enough. Easypark app or pay meter on site.

Nice and educative museum for kids. It’s really recommended to go on a weekday if possible, to have less of a crowd. However, slightly overpriced if going as a family. But very friendly staff and a nice learning day for kids (would recommend for the age of 7 and up, to fully understand the different elements and learn). But the kids can easily spend a full day and luckily there are a cafe and restaurant that fits all.

I would definitely recommend visiting. Both fun and learning place. Definitely need at least 3-4 hours to explore.

It was a great place for my school-age kid to explore. But it was fun for me too. Making bubbles and the bubble show was fun and interesting. My son's favorites were probably the slide where one enters a huge mouth and the different screens where one can see himself as a colorful silhouette.

This is a haven for kids to learn and have fun! Their most important rule was “don’t have your hands inside your pockets” meaning “explore everything!”. The children had a wonderful time here as did we!

We were there during the school break and it was lots of cars in the parking. The experiments were good and interesting and we liked it. About the disability parking, they just have two and it was full. It will be good to have more.. otherwise the facility was wheelchair friendly.

The best children museum I have ever been to! You can spend here the entire day, and still not to see everything. The cafeteria has a good verity of basic meals. Entree fee is a bit pricey but worth every penny. If you plan to come at least 3 times a year, you should buy the yearly subscription. We will definitely come back again and again!

By far, the best entertainment park in Stockholm. Fun, crative, cool, entertaining, beautiful and very smartly planned. With lots and lots and lots of different, harder and easier, quieter and louder, fascinating stuff to do, touch, feel, jump on, ride on, walk and even fly on.. experiences! Fun place to visit with the kids, there are a lot of different experiments and you could easily spend a whole day there. We didn't really like the food in the café.

My kids loved this place. No joke, this was the highlight of the trip for them. In fact, I loved it too. The interactive exhibits were engaging and fun. I never thought my kids would have that much fun learning science. I really enjoyed the outdoor space and the exhibits included there. This is a must if have kids between 7 and 15 and are in the Stockholm area.

It is our family's favorite museum. It is so fun, we love the bubbles and the bubble shows, anatomy section, building with magnets, kids love sending balls down this super long track and run to catch up, we love going through the dark room and testing our ability to use the other senses. The museum is full of tests of your mind and physical abilities.

If you are into science experiments...this is the place 🤗😍. Both for adults and for kids. You can bring your own food or use the restaurant facilities at the place. Also, it would be advisable to bring change clothes for kids as there are also water sports💦🙌

Beautiful cathedral and awesome building that shows the historic construction of the past. It’s a symbol of Uppsala and Sweden due to its tremendous architecture that attracts the tourists. Located in the old town of Uppsala and easy to visit.

One of Sweden's most beautiful churches. Free entrance, service every day at 12 (show respect, and don't film/take photos while they have service). You Lan easily spend at least one hour and still not see all.

Refered as one of the largest cathedral in Sweden. It is regarded as heritage and iconic symbol. Nice architecture. It is nice to visit and look around. But, the guided tour is recommended if you have interest in history and really want to know more. Interesting facts:1. It was build with more than 50 Million bricks!2. The tower shapes were changed several times! By different architectures.3. When it was planned to build, it was planned to be a big one, not like other cathedral that was build then later expanded. Based on demand. It can accommodate 900 people at a time on the benches, but with additional chairs it can accommodate comfortably 2000 people at a time.4. Gorgeous brick work and impressive spires on the outside bring scope to the fantastic interior. Admission to the church is free, to see the great treasures that survived the fire in the 1700s, there is a cost. Recommend getting the guide book from the gift shop before wandering, as the free pamphlet only touches lightly on all the church has to offer for sight seeing.

Really nice cathedral, free entrance, parking nearby. Unfortunately late afternoon is souvenir shop inside closed (from 16:00 I guess). Cathedral now is under reconstruction from outside and one entrance is closed. If you kike history, it is very good to see this cathedral

The cathedral is absolutly beautiful. It looks really impressive from the outside and is visible fromnalmost anywhere in the city. The inside is also amazing. There is a beautiful grave in the front and glass panels. If you are lucky there might be a choir singing while you visit.

Nice Swedish castle in a cute quaint town. Takes ~3hrs to see everything depending on how thorough and detailed in your observation you want to be.This castle has a huge portrait and painting collection, which they actively add to with current royalty and political figures. The theatre inside is a must see, has a quiet otherworldly vibe.Lots of couples seem to come here for wedding photos outside.

Remarkable place! I loved every moment of this visit! The castle has 65 amazing chambers ready to reveal their story, incredible paintings on the walls and rare royal items! My favourite room was King's theater!! 🎭 The view, the garden and all the outside surrounding was trully lovely!

Beautiful castle with an awesome painting collection. The rooms are very well preserved. It feels like traveling back in time, getting lost in the numerous rooms. Bring some time when visiting, there is lots to see. The tour (one English tour a day) gives a great overview and is amazing value for money (30sek for 1h and a great guide). But you can spend lots of time exploring the 3 different floors. One of the best castles I have been in as it really transports you back in time. The theater is stunning. The gardens are beautiful as well but don’t need as much time as the castle.

Probably the best place we explored because of how much you get to actual wander and see. A lot of palaces and castles show you such a small portion of the estate but this felt like we could a walk around for hours. Highly recommend you make the trip out to see it.

We could not enter the castle because we arrived just after 16 hours (closing time during this time of the year) but the gardens alone were worth the ride. The peacefulness that you can experience here is something I will remember!

Gripsholm castle is an intricate hall of history full of hidden gems. The architecture has grown over the centuries to a labyrinthic structure. Most of the halls and rooms have been remodeled in the 19th century, but there are a few rooms as they were originally in the 15th century. These are particularly well preserved. The guided tours are a very sound addition to your experience. My favorite hall is the gallery of portraits. Just the art in that gallery is worth the visit. Plan for three hours of touring, one with the guided tour and two on your own. There is plenty of parking and it is free.

Castle is kept in good condition from inside and outside. This is really the biggest portrait gallery I know - portraits from centuries ago until today. It takes definitely 2 hours to go through castle rooms filled with portraits.

You need to buy tickets to go inside. But, you are free to explore surroundings. Importantly, the surrounding areas are awesome near to the water. There is heritage steam engine running around. The place is 1h 30min drive from Stockholm. If weather is nice do not hesistate to visit.

awesome museum, it has a great collection of vehicles with a lot of unique ones i hadn't seen anywhere else.There is also a very nice unit collection on the first floor for which the signs are unfortunately only in Swedish but it's still interesting and worth using google translate.During my visit it wasn't to busy so i had ample opportunity to look at vehicles and make photo's.Gift shop has the normal stuff, but but the book selection is mainly Swedish.I can recommend the museum and would expect to spend 2-4 hours visiting it.

Very nicely done exihibition, with a lot of historical tanks, trucks and apc's. Good English language description with background information an all displayed items.

There is a large selection of military vehicles. Most of them from Sweden. We went on a Sunday. Museum is calm and quiet, not much crowded. We had a great time there.

This is one of the best tourist activities I've done in any country. It's obvious that they truly care about the moose, on the property and the wild. I highly recommend the tour. Food from the concession is very good. Slightly slow to handle 100+ people but plenty to do and see while waiting.

Very nice experience. The guided tractor tour to the mooses is very unique. The owners have done a great job of thinking the tour and park through. Both sides - the visitors as well as the animals - are in the focus here. Clear rules (=good) for the visitors, but at the same time we could see everything we came for - from very young, sweet- to beautiful "old" mooses. I really recommend it.

Just a great place and unusual experience. Very nice people, worth to come earlier or stay a bit later to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Four great action rides/slides and good experience pool. The food is ok but not ambitious. But overall a very nice experience. Not too long queues for the rides which the family liked.

Very underwhelming.The pools are small and there are not enough tables in the restaurant to accommodate all the guests during busier days.The water slides are fun once, maybe twice but I suppose that I'd find them more entertaining if I was 12.Poorly designed with a long, cold corridor to get from the changing rooms to the pools, very few showers (two of them didn't work at all) and unlike other baths I've been to there was no place to put your shampoo and conditioner bottles while showering.On the bright side the food was very good and not hideously overpriced.

Our family had a blast here. Lots of fun for all ages. A couple of the speed slides are a bit rough but otherwise we felt very safe and comfortable. Very clean and fun environment.

I have to give an honest review. This place gives the impression that it's some sort of cool adventure waterpark....it is not. It's a swimming pool with a few slides. Some of the "attractions" were shut down (The Double Racer and the Aqua Cinema). The "Wall" in the beginning had so many grips missing it was impossible to actually climb it to be able to enjoy it. They didn't have enough tubes so people were standing around at the bottom waiting. I even saw some adults trying to take tubes from children. The lines are long and they close down certain slides during certain times which makes no sense, which causes even longer lines. They only have TWO VR headsets at a time for the "underwater experience" which is insane considering how many people are there. The VR for the slides is "ok" but its very outdated, it reminded me of when VR first came out not to mention you have to pay to even use the headsets every time you use them! For the price it's SUPER overpriced it's not fair that we were charged full price for a park that wasn't fully functional. The only thing that was actually cool was the Boomerang, altho ride with caution, I slammed my backside and legs on it.

It is a indoor amusem*nt aqua park. It was not so big compared to the other aqua parks which i have gone so far but it worth visiting. It is so clean with friendly stuff. There is a circle inside the water which in that area water rotate around the circle and moves you inside which was a cool experience. Also there is a small outdoor swimming pool with hot water which you can breath in fresh air and enjoy a lot while you are seeing the sea view from inside. When you want to buy ticket there are 3 ticjet options, just buy the cheapest one since there is not much difference between them but the price difference is quite a lot. There is a buffet there which you can buy some snacks there but you can bring your own snack and eat there as well. The slides was not impressive to me.

Lots of fun for kids, clean, a little bit dark so it becomes heavy after some hours. Water slides pools and one activities inside the pools. Not so long food options but big sizes.

It was quite nice, the water isn't dirty which is good. Doesn't smell like choline. Although if you have epilepsy, 8 would NOT recommend as there's slashing lights just about everywhere. It's a bit hard to navigate and a lot of stairs.

Bottom floor is for the youngest kids and the higher floors when you want more action, which I think is a very good layout. Last year I was here during a lightning storm a felt really lucky because of the spectacular view from the restaurants big window. If you plan on getting here I can also recommend the hotel in the same building, Steam Hotel.

It was a really good day at the Kokpunkten Actionbad. The staff there was really nice. It was a good mix between chill & fun. We not need wait no where, everything was quik (we was on your monday). The bath was clean & looks really good. Price was also okay & the parking was also easy.

Very disappointed after my family's visit to Kokpunkten.The pool area was much smaller than I had expected and there was not much room to play in, every space had been used for some kind of attraction. The rides were good, but out of four, one was closed for renovation, and the others were also closed in turns during the day - it seemed like there was not enough staff to have the remaining three rides open simultaneously. This of course meant that queues to the open rides were huge.Regarding staff there seemed to be a lack of it in the whole installation, there was practically no-one overlooking the different areas and groups of boys/adolescents were allowed to run wild, even in the kiddie pool.The queue to the café was always really long, even though we waited until long after regular lunch hours. The available food in the café was also really disappointing to a vegetarian: margherita pizza (no toppings) and french fries were basically it - nothing with any protein. How hard would it be to have at least vegetarian hot dogs or a pizza with some topping other than meat?Another irritation was the dim lighting, it was just really dark everywhere you went - when going from inside to the outside pool, it took ten minutes for your eyes to adjust.Price-wise it's really expensive compared to other similar places and not at all value for money.On the positive side, the outside pool was nice, the kiddie area was big and had lots of fun stuff, there were lots of bubble baths and the changing rooms were spacious and clean.

Great escape from the routine. They have taken great advantage of the space ( an expansion with more slides will for sure be welcome and more fun).Only complain is that a larger braking space at the end of the slides is needed!! Worst experience ever. Been to many water parks throughout europe, so in total general area 5 jacuzzi constantly full all the common area is just for kids. Very poor choice of activities. A honest review: first thing the people working there are horrible hogging the ping pong table not working and the people at the slide dont help you sith safety or anything they stand there kissing like its a date and cant be bothered by others. Second thing is that the vr quality sucks you cant see anything and it costs 25 kr and is only one time and it doesnt even sit on your head my brothers headset reset midway and half of the time you cant even buy them. Third thing is that many of things like rides are closed and theres a bounch of children without parents causing trouble and they need to weigh 55 kg atleast to ride boomerang but the employes let 6 year olds ride it which makes them stuck at the bottom horrible safety.It was fun to be there and the food was good but at a high cost and the most of rhe toilets were unlockable and dirty so you had to hold it in the entire time.Id give ig around 1.5/5 because i had lots of fun but the service and nature of the place was horrible

I celebrated my birthday here yesterday. The water park is very warm and humid almost everywhere.It has five slides, one of them being the black River. It’s a slide thats pitch black with no light with lots of twists and turns, it’s very fun!The VR rides were very interesting, and the outdoor relax pool had a very nice view at nighttime. They need to do something about the queues. Although they added a tent, it still cold to wait. The bracelet that we got two of them didn’t work so we had to go back and reprogram them. The kiosk had a problem with the system and it didn’t work to order for 30 min, then we lost our queue and started over. The slide ls had queues also. It was clean though, it felt fresh. Other than that is okay to be there for some hours. Parking is not free, 100kr for 4 hours.

We had a coffee, took the 155 meter tour and visited the antique shop. The tour guide was really funny and add a really cool mine down below and it is a real good trip. The Sala mine is quite small, so it is not that many meters you walk around. However the views and environmeent is cool. Obviously 9 minutes up and down in an elevator is really boring, but alas you need to reach the depths somehow. The coffee and the people at the cafe really, really nice. You feel the friendliness in the place. Antique shop has a lot of cool stuff.

Very well organized and peaceful. We took the tour self-paced with our two boys 9 and 11 years. There were very knowledgable guides available at various stations, we were impressed by them being able to answer all our questions, they felt like professionals geologists and historians. We arrived in the morning and were informed that the visit in English were at 12:45 for the 66m deep and 14:00 for the 155m deep.Since we didn’t want to wait too long, we chose the earliest.The visit was nice, the Lady didn’t have the technical words in English but it was understandable.The museum and the photography building only have descriptions in Swedish. English ones would have been appreciated.A bit expensive for what it is (almost 30€ per person) but I would recommend.

What I would like to praise the most would be the staff which were specially nice and welcoming.They staff museum were former employees form the factory and they offered themselves to run and demonstrate some of the engines in the exhibition.The museum displays a wide arrange of machinery built by the Munktfell manufacturer with lots of details and history. You can access and climb all most all the vehicles which makes it very exciting and entertaining, specially for kids . It also has a more modern area with more augmented reality games and simulators.The museum also has a small shop and a cafe!

You know, it is just lovely here. It is grandma village house right next to city that you never had opportunity to visit. And it’s for free! Animals are taken good care of, they all look clean and healthy! The museum-houses are pretty packed with old-times stuff, however, there could be a little bit more information in English provided. Museum is doing events and fairs according to the celebrations, what is awesome. Place is kids and dogs-friendly, there is caffe for fika to buy.

A pretty broad park experience with a bit of everything, mostly tailored to children. Mainly tidy and clean, with some few (not too good) options for food and drinks throughout the park area. Animals seem to have proper pens but some look like they exhibit some stress behaviours. A little bit of a steep entry fee but at least access to everything (including free rides) is included.

Many attractions we're closed, most of the ones I went there for. Lines were big for every attraction and shop. It felt like I was at a early 2000s disco sometimes, because people were so close to me most of the times(remember we're in the 2020s).Very disappointed that I had to pay full price for this zoo; which had to include the overly crowded pool and carousel rides which I would never use.I recommend paying for a ride to Stockholm and going to a zoo there which would be the same price combined. I'm sure both you and the animals would have more fun there.

Great zoo! Worth every penny. They have a petting-zoo, a pool-area and a funfair too. Great park. Only thing that was a total let-down was the "restaurant" Morris. The burgers were basically ineatible, expensive and we had to wait for almost an hour to get the food from when we ordered. Bring your own picnic! Do NOT eat there! Otherwise the zoo and the park is a fantastic place!

A public zoo characterized by a total absence of maintenance and animal welfare. The zoo looks like 20 years after Jurassic Park. Left to themselves. We saw 1 employee on our entire tour. This one just looks horrible. Not recommended for a single soul. Our condolences to most of the animals.

A very cozy place to visit. I really recommend using public transportation to get here as parking is extremely limited. Also be aware that these old houses are not handicap friendly. There are very steep steps and some places lack handrails.

Follow the river path and you will leave Wadköping behind you. Within minutes you come to Örebro with its amazing Castle, Skulptures and magnificent buildings. For me it was a big WOW. I could write about so many things too see in Örebro but I think you should just check it out yourself. You won't be disappointed.

This place is a must visit. You will feel 1970 vibe. Nice little place!

The only reason for 4/5 stars is because of the gift shop. It is loaded w cheap products from China and when one failed and we tried to return it, they resisted the refund and were snarky. Please, this is Sweden and it is loaded w crafts that are made LOCALLY. Utilize your resources to promote this beautiful country and get rid of the trinkets that can be found in every gift shop around the world.

Impressive castle to look at from the outside, but a big waste of money to tour the interior. All of it has been redone in the late 1900s and so all of the historical charm has been lost. The rooms are also not furnished and the information provided is super limited. All of the paintings inside are prints. For a castle with over 400 years of history, the interior was extremely disappointing.

The castle is extremely beautiful especially on the outside. A unique piece of preserved cultural heritage, unfortunately the exhibition lacks in terms of substance. The artworks are few and the rooms are mostly empty, I feel there's a missed opportunity here considering the building's long history and there is room for improvement. Really fun and nice, after lunch it was long queues to all the slides and quite crowded in the river, this was during the high season. Being able to checkout from the parking and money on the wrist band is more of a limit since you only pay for what you use, very convenient.

The kids 9 and 11 enjoyed themselves but we will definitely not be coming back.

I had an incredible shopping experience at Nordby Shoppingcenter! One of the standout features is just how massive the center is. A decent mall with most of the common brands available. We went with the kids and my review from that perspective. First of all the candy shop is incredible. The options are humongous with tall candy towers. Along with it there are toy shops and play area available for a good time. Kids can have food options within and outside the mall. Inside the mall there are buffet shops with Asians and istanbul type of options. Outside you will find Mcdonalds near to the parking.Overall the destination is good place to spend few hours.If you are going from Norway for spotting cheap price good then I recommend you look at Things with sugar like Candy, Soda, Energy drinks etc. Dairy items like Milk, Yoghurt, Cheese are cheaper compare to Norway. Alcohol is not available in the mall but it’s cheaper in Sweden so you can drive 10 minutes to buy it. Cigarettes are available and are cheaper compare as well. Please remember to buy things with in the custom quota. Norway customs have a great app call Toll to know your free import limits and also you can pay the duty within the app if you are exceeding your quota. Meat is cheaper too but again you have hard limits on how much can be imported.

Pretty decent mall, its quite large and has a nice selection of stores, though it's more long than wide so you will get some exercise, but that's probably normal with a mall of this size. Has some restaurants in the middle, some fast food joints nearby or inside and a smaller food court upstairs, so you do have a lot of options. It has free parking too.

It has it all, great place, word of advice, go if you can on a week day, not on weekends, it's crazy full on weekends.

Honestly best pool for kids and grow ups, i haven't found such fun pools in Oslo area, everything you need they have, highly recommend to try at least once with family.

Very nice place for the whole family, food is not the best but it's not a restaurant so it's not a problem. Pools are clean enough, lockers work, showers are okay, plenty of room and even though it was full there are places to chill and relax. Didn't try the jacuzzi since it was always over capacity and I do not enjoy a human soup, stayed around 3 hours and my 4 year old enjoyed every second of it.

Great place to spend time with family and friends. Clean water, tidy place and neat everywhere. More than 5 separate pools for different ages and activities. Jacuzzi and sauna also present. With Bigger slides for adults and smaller slides for kids. Parking, Cafeteria, advanced locker and shower area, they do sell swim suit, cap, Goggles and flipflops. But less staffs and unable to contact them at ease. Overall excellent place.

I was disappointed to visit this swimming pool. The whole complex looks rather old, not modern at all, starting with lockers and showers, to the three tube-slides and the pool itself, with not very clean and clear water, no tiles on the walls or bottom of the pool. Lots of children visiting the pool (main one, unfortunately) and jumping into it from the springboards and the diving tower, making a lot of noise and blocking all lanes but ONE for those who want to swim. After kids are gone, still only two lanes are available for swimming. The two saunas (one dry and one damp) do work, but again, are old-fashioned and not really pleasant to visit. There is a nice warm-water small pool and a Jacuzzi outdoors, worth recommending, though.

Great great lake with a very nice path to go around and enjoy it. The walk takes 30' in moderate pace, there are two beaches, a waffle shop, toilets, benches to sit and enjoy the still waters, kind people walking and enough parking, although, JUST barely as of late, Jessheim is growing.A great lake for our small city 😍

What a wonderful lake!There is a sandy beach near the main entrance, equipped with a diving board, a rail to help one walk into the water, and even proper bathrooms. There are areas you can BBQ/grill, several benches all around the lake, and well placed waste bins near the entrance.You'll find a beach volleyball court and an outdoor gym near the lower, larger parking lot. There is a ton of space for picnics or sun tanning on the grass around the beach itself.A beautiful main trail goes around the lake, with additional free trails in the forest area.Definitely worth a visit! 😃🐾🌳

A nice place to go for a tour, it will take you approximately 30 minutes for 1 round. I always walk here and I bike sometimes. Tried visiting here on all seasons and it’s still beautiful no matter what. They even have workout equipments near the parking area that’s accessible for everyone. Love this place!

Great place to hike around, beautiful sea and nice nature. Cute little red and white houses typical for Nordic countries.I took a ferry going from Stromsund north harbour to north Koster Island, then went for a hike around ended in south harbour, took a cable ferry for 10 SEK to South Koster Island, had a really good meal (Lasagne) in a new restaurant, then hired around south Koster Island and took a ferry back from east part of the island back to Stromstund.

Beautiful islands with incredible beaches, hills and forests. Perfect for spending a day or even staying a little longer and exploring by foot. You can arrive at one ferry port and depart from another, so you can walk in pretty much any direction you want. Just be mindful of the time schedule.

Greate walkway after a short boat trip towards the Koster Island. A small paradise of you enjoy walking around the small island, watching and sharing it with the other tourists, travelers and the inhabitants.

Nord-Koster and the ocean surrounding it is a great experience. The trail around the Nord-Koster island has a lot of different micro-landscapes, a rich bird life, and nice view towards the ocean and the sunset if you choose the right time of day.

Ferry to the islands and back was 280 SEK but it was fun.The island was quite nice with some wonderful scapes, a fantastic view and great trails to walk through.But there are lots of tourists in the main season of course, that was a little too stressful at the ferrys and main points

Not our favourite national park, but at least good. We payed 280 SEK for the ferry (round trip means return ticket btw). The ferry goes approx. every 2 hours. It took 4 hours to go around the South Island where the most part consists of the National Park. The yellow way was not very interesting, the red one at the coast was beautiful and the mini coral reef is really worth looking. This was nr 17 of 30 national parks for us. We recommend Skulleskogen for a more natural coast area.

Don't go here to watch animals.. it's like normal island . Rent a electric cart roam all over the island.. ferry is good.. u will get all the things in island. U can rent bike or also can walk.
