Are you wanting to start a blog, but not sure if you’ll make money? Well, today, we are going to take a look at some blog income reports. Hopefully, by seeing some blogger earnings, you’ll understand that you can make money online.
Many people just like you and I have managed to start a blog and make money from the comfort of their home.
How to Start A Blog
It doesn’t surprise me that more and more people are starting a blog as a side hustle in hopes of walking away from their job. I started this mine to walk away from my WordPress freelancing gig.
There are a lot of overnight success stories floating around on the Internet.
It can be inspiring to see how bloggers make money and drive traffic to their blog. Don’t worry, I’ll also share what you should expect and if it’s really possible to learn how to make money in the first month.

I’ve found some blogger earnings in several different niches to show you that as long as you choose a profitable niche, you can make money. You might not become a six-figure blogger, but imagine making an extra $3000 or more per month.
The blog monthly income reports that I am going to share with you will vary. You’ll find up and coming bloggers that make $200 – $100,000.

What About My Income Reports
While I don’t publish them on this blog and probably never will, this blog does make a little bit of money. I’m still working on increasing the traffic aspect of my blog.
Unfortunately, I made a ton of mistakes at the very beginning and wrote a ton of blog posts that just don’t get enough or any traffic at all.
That’s why I am going back and updating old blog posts. My hope is that by doing that, I’ll be able to increase the traffic to my blog and with more traffic then the money should follow.
More traffic doesn’t always mean more traffic but since this blog does make some money with the little bit of traffic that it gets, I am sure that more traffic will boost my income.
I’ve been using SEMRush to help me do some keyword research and I can tell you that it’s worth it. Once my month is up, I’ll be switching to KWFinder to help me continue focusing on writing content that can get good rankings.
If you do start doing keyword research, just make sure that you’re not stuffing your blog posts with keywords. That won’t help you rank and will only hurt you in the long run.
Blogging Income Average
While we would all love to have the most profitable blog that makes six and seven figures. I am also sure that most of us would just love to have a blog that makes an extra $5,000 to $10,000 per month.
Unfortunately, the median blogging income is $8,095. (don’t let this deter you, it doesn’t have to be your destiny)
The thing that you need to know is that most of the bloggers who are making six or seven figures have been blogging for several years. Yes, some of them are making a profit after a few years.
There are a lot of factors that go into whether or not a blog will make money online quickly. We all grow out our own pace according to our subject matter, previous experience and hundreds of other variables.
Even if it takes you 4 years to create an online asset that makes you passive income, wouldn’t it be worth it to start now?
How to Use These Online Income Reports
While I typically don’t spend my time reading income reports, I do like to read them from time to time. Especially, those that share what they did to get those results.
You can learn a lot from some of them. Instead of looking at them and daydreaming about the income you can make, read the ones that share how they got the traffic to start making money.
Because believe it or not, traffic is the thing that is going to help you grow your blog. Without traffic, you’re NEVER going to be able to make any money. This is what I am doing to increase the traffic the traffic to my site.
How to Make Money Online By Blogging
If you take the time to read some of these reports, you’ll notice one thing every blogger has in common, They are all earning money from multiple income streams.
A lot of them are using:
- affiliate marketing
- digital products
- ad networks
- coaching
- services
- freelancing
Another thing you will notice is that all the ones that bloggers who make money in the six and seven figures all have their own online courses.
What Should This Tell You?
That it’s possible to profit with affiliate links and ads, you really can’t expect to make six figures until you create your own online course.
This doesn’t mean that you have to create an online course if you don’t want to. As you can see, many of the reports above do not have their own online course and they are still making a decent income.
Many of them have been able to leave their full-time jobs because their side hustle became their full-time gig.
After browsing the list and reading how they make money, chances are you’re thinking, can I do it too?
Absolutely you can, but just know that it isn’t going to happen overnight. Building a blog business takes time and it’s not as easy as many people think.

How Much Can A Blogger Make a Month?
One of the things you need to know about this side hustle is that there is no cap on how much you can make. One of the things that I have noticed by doing this post is that everyone’s blog revenue is different.
This is why everyone’s revenue varies. If you have two people in the same niche, one thing you’ll notice is that both of them make money from blogging differently.
If they post their income on their blog, you’ll notice that they are not making the same amount even if they started at the same time.
Why?
Well, a lot goes into building a successful digital asset than just writing a great post. This is what makes this business so challenging.
Most of us who get started have no clue about being an entrepreneur and marketing. Most of us have an employee background and we’re so used to people telling us what needs to be done.
When you decide to follow your passion and start an online venture, you need to learn how to:
- Create content
- Use social media
- Build an email list
- Read Analytics
- Network with other bloggers
- Guest post
- Do keyword research
- Learn SEO (search engine optimization)
- Get familiar with WordPress blogging (get over the technical issues)
I could literally go on and on with what it takes to build a profitable business. The point I am trying to make is that it takes a while to learn how to do all this.
Some people have some knowledge or some have a marketing background when they start. Then there are those of us who have no clue what it takes to promote a blog.
So we need to listen to podcasts, read books or invest in courses that show us how to accomplish something online.
How Much Will You Make?
Unfortunately, I have no clue what you will make. I don’t even know if you have what it takes to build an online asset that builds over time.
Do you have the desire to change your life? Can you be persistent even when you’re not getting the results you want?
Are You Willing to Spend A Little Bit?
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to start your business. But don’t make the mistake of trying to learn how to make money online with Blogspot or the free version of WordPress. Yes, there are two different versions of WordPress.
Go ahead and get started the right way. Getting started is not as expensive as you might think, here’s what it costs to get started. Only invest in what you can afford and what you feel will be most beneficial to you.
Then take the time to find popular blog topics in your niche. Next, sit down and start writing. Don’t look at anyone else’s success, you’re only focusing on your own.
Install Google Analytics and pay attention to what’s working and what isn’t. Tweak your strategy and focus on what’s working and what isn’t.
Keep learning new things, you’re never going to know it all. And it’s okay, that won’t prevent you from increasing your web income little by little.

Building online businesses of any kind takes a lot of hard work. You can’t expect it to happen overnight. You definitely can’t compare yourself to others who see success faster than you do.
The point is that you never know unless you try. If you try and fail, so what, it’s okay. We all fail and I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve failed, but that hasn’t stopped me from continuing to strive for my goals.
